Roll A Drawing

This is my roll a drawing! I did a workshop call roll a drawing but I had n idea what it was and it turned out to be super fun! The picture was my best one and it is supposed to be a spider! There was also sheets to do a monster, a face and a bug! The only thing is I did the legs the wrong way around and it looks a bit weird but I don't mind! I named it gold creeps even know that name is a bit weird I still like it! I had lots of fun doing this workshop and making all my roll a drawing!

Maths Mystery

This is me and Mia's maths mystery answer for this week! I hope we got it right because I put and names and the answer into the container that they pull the names out of for the people that win and get a starburst! I have lots of fun doing these math mysteries and the answer we got was Amelia Clifford! This Maths mystery was called murder at the movies! I had lots of fun doing this!

Blog challenge!!!

This is my blog challenge! For this week's blog challenge, we could choose to make a dream classroom or dream bedroom! I choose to do the bedroom! It was lots of fun! I have two animals in my bedroom and they are a cat and a turtle! I love my bed sooooo much! I love the green colour and the fancy was it has curtains! Next to the computer, there is a power plug and there are some toy horses because I love horses! I also have some paintbrushes in my room because I love painting and doing art! I have lots of books because I love reading! I had lots of fun making this!

Word of the week

This is my word of the week for this week! The word this week was Cacophony! I think I had heard this word before but I did not know what it meant! It means like a loud sound or a racket I think! I used the template but changed the colours and added the green suns because I thought they looked cool! (: The hardest thing was finding a picture because when I searched it up it came up with what it means so that was the hardest part! I really enjoy doing the word of the week!

Read, Predict and Write

This is my read, predict and write for this week! I liked this week's because I love writing and we got to write it! This is what my story said: “I have no friends” The monster burst into tears making a puddle on the ground. “Umm I could be your friend,” Gordon told the monster in a sweet voice. They sat there looking at each other for a moment and then Gordon said: “do you want to sleep in my bed with me?” The monster came out from under the bed and hugged Gordon but the strangest thing happened when the monster touched Gordon he turned purple and there were yellow spots all over him! “What is happening” Gordon yelled at the monster, “When I touch a person he turns into a monster and we teleport to my world,” The monster told Gordon. Gordon stared at him in horror “what about my family and my baby sister?” He asked the monster “I don’t want to go I want to stay “But then I will have no friends again.” The monster looked really sad, Gordon thought for a while “why don’t you stay here with me?” Gordon asked the monster. Gordon and the monster slept happily in Gordon’s bed for the rest of the night! I loved doing this and it was super fun!

Paper planes!!!

On Friday every Friday, we have a Whetu challenge! Last week we had to make a jingle and we also did a catapult challenge and we had to make something out of a milk carton! This week we had to make a paper plane and see whos was the most accurate! Mine was not accurate at all but the steps we did to make them was pretty simple! First, we did a draft/practise paper plane to see what type of paper plane was the most accurate! The type of paper plane I made was the standard plane but I added some different folds! My plane did not go very far but I think I got zero points! I don't care because I had fun doing the challenge! When we were doing the flying there was a cardboard hanger with is where people keep their planes in real life but we had to try fly plane into it! There were three hangers so the girls all lined up in front of one and the boys in front of another. The people that got it into the hanger or very close went into the final line then we all had to come and sit back down! The people that got it into the hanger were into the real final round when we all watched! The person who won was Max! It was super fun!

Michael Morpurgo

I have been reading books at school and one day I choose the book Running Wild! I really enjoyed that book so when I finished that one I thought I Would read the book An eagle in the snow and it is also by Michael Morpurgo! I also read a book by him last year and it was called The butterfly lion! It was a good book but I think that was more for me when I was younger now! I think his books are really good and he is a good author! I think my favourite was Running wild because it was just my type of book! I really like Michael Morpurgo books and think they are really good!
