Egg Drop Challenge

For this weeks Whetu challenge we did the Egg Drop Challenge! We had to be in groups of three and we got to choose who we were with! I was in a group with Marley and Teana! We got a paper bag and the materials inside it to make it. The materials inside the bag were scissors, tape, wool, newspaper, two balloons, three straws and a sock if you brought one. I and Marley did not bring a sock but luckily Teana did because it helped us a lot. When we had planed in our books we made our creations. Then we went and walked out to the grandstand to drop them off the side! There was a lot of broken eggs including ours but some did not crack! We named are egg but I can't remember the name we named it all I can remember is that it started with a J! The Egg Drop Challenge was super fun and it was definitely one of my favourites so far!

Letter of the week

This is my letter of the week! The letter this week was P and I found a funny waffle P! I used lots of silhouettes of people because Ashley used them last week and they looked really cool!

My Term 2, 2020 Reflection

The new learning activity that I have enjoyed the most this term is probably doing the opt-ins because I like having the choice of doing whatever learning you can choose up there but I also like how we are doing the morning blook and I love discovery time because I like to research. Last term when we did chapter challenge I would always like doing research!

Something that has challenged me this term has been some of the number of the day questions especially the multiplying by five! The triple it is a little bit hard but not nearly as hard as the multiplying by five.

The Whetu Challenge I enjoyed the most was probably making something out of the egg carton because I knew what I was making, I had all the things I needed and I would use the thing I made! I made a sewing kit thing! The only downside to that was I cut myself and so I did not get to completely finish it but I will finish it at home!

The opt-in workshop I enjoyed the most was bean growing even though I think mine is maybe dying or not doing too well. I still really enjoyed planting my bean and researching it!

An aim I have for my learning is to post as many things on my blog as possible so I have lots of SuperNova things on my blog every day so people can look at my blog every day and there be something new!
