Maths book

Mum brought home a maths book from her school for me to practise in! Some of the things in it are hard but some of the things I can do! The book is meant for year 8, 9 and 10! So some of the things are really confusing but I don't do them! In the pictures I have done some multiplying positive and negative numbers and showing fractions of shapes! I have done some other things like normal times and plus and things! I like the fun spots it has in it because some are really fun! On one I had to do a maze and on another I had to decode something! I like the books!

The golden bird

I choose to do the golden bird story because it sounded like a thing I would read! I also wanted to find out why there was a fox for the little picture instead of a golden bird! There was a fox because there was a wise fox in the story that helped the youngest prince to find the golden bird, golden horse and the princesses that lived in the golden castle! My answers are 1. I think because he wanted to make everybody and everything happy and special! 2. I think you should not because they might be really nice on the inside! It is like judging a book by its cover! I think it is a great story and when I first looked at it I was like oh my good this is so long but I enjoyed reading all of it! I think I did a super nova!

Chapter challenge

This week for chapter challenge I had to research about black bears! I found out lots of new things that I did not know before! I found out that black bears closest living relatives are Pinnipeds, Canids and Musteloids! I think black bears are really majestic animals and that they are beautiful! I had lots of fun making my slides and think that they are a super nova!

Giant caterpillar submarine brochure

This is my caterpillar submarine brochure! It is under the sea and the way they can breath is that the caterpillar will blow a big saliva bubble around its mouth to stop the water coming in!  The way people can fit inside is that the caterpillar is giant! You can try caterpillar slime soup were you won't find anywhere other than the giant caterpillar sub! so come get your tickets!

Chapter Challenge

This is my chapter Challenge for this week I made a river that had real water in it and Sal and Hump are crossing the river! I made it with Ashley! We had real trees and some rocks like river rocks! The hardest part was getting the water to stay in the tinfoil river well we took the photos! I had lots of fun making our river! The cardboard was probably a bad idea because it was falling apart because we first used plastic and there was gaps and the water got onto the cardboard box! I think we did a super nova chapter challenge!!!

Chapter Challenge

This is my Chapter Challenge for this week! I did away with words! For away with words I had to write down the alphabet and come up with a sentence related to the book for each letter! It had to be more than just a word! I did drawings of a donkey, the book, carrot the parrot, boater and boiler hats, a stem boat and zebra meat! I got the idea to do the starting letters from Mrs Loft! I thing the easiest part was when there was a letter were you could write about a character! I think the hardest part was when you could not think of one and got stuck on it! In the end I was able to do every letter!

Chapter challenge

This is my chapter challenge for this week! I did digital design, were I had to do a scene of the book. I choose to do the black bear attacking them! I also added in some black bear facts! There are six facts and my favourite one is that they have an excellent scene of smell 100% grater than humans! I had lots of fun making this!
