Knots, Bowline knot

This is a  bowline knot. I had lots of trouble trying to make this knot because it would go tight and the loop would go away! The only way I figured out was from the help of my friend Rylee! The thing I was doing wrong was that you had to make a little loop and I was twisting the loop the wrong way so it would not work! You had to make it a certain way! I rate this a 2/5 for easy rating!

Knots, Overhand knot

This is the overhand knot. This is my fourth-knot blog post! We only had to do three but because I was done all the other school work I had to do I made another one! The overhand knot is used for fishing, shoelaces, climbing and making other knots! I rate the easy rating a 4/5 because it is quite easy to do it once you get the hang of it! I had lots of fun making thins knot.

Konts, Alpine butterfly knot.

This is the alpine butterfly knot and my favorite knot! The alpine butterfly knot is a fixed loop that is easy to untie. The alpine butterfly knot is also known as the lineman's loop. The alpine butterfly knot is used for rock climbing and stuff like that. I learned two ways to make an alpine butterfly knot but the way I like to do is the easy way and the fastest way. The easy way I rate it a 5/5 and the hard way I rate it a 2 and a half.

Knots, Clove Hitch knot

This is a clove hitch knot and you make it tide to something. I tide it to a chair. The clove hitch knot is used for securing lines running along with a series of posts and other stuff. I rate this knot a 3 and a half out of five for hardness. You can also tie it around sticks and big wood. A clove hitch knot is secure when tied straight. I had lots of fun tieing the clove hitch knot.

Knots, Figure-eight knot

This is a figure-eight knot that I made. It was very easy to make the knot. I think it is really easy to remember the figure-eight knot. A figure-eight knot can be used for carrying things like firewood and other stuff. The figure-eight knot is also used for a stopper knot. I rate the figure-eight knot a 5/5 for easy rating. I had lots of fun creating knots.

The hardest part of doing this for me was drawing the ears. The hardest part for Skye was figuring out the skin colors. The easiest part for me was coloring in the skin because it is so big. The easiest part for Skye was coloring in the lips.

Mini scene

When it was calf club the people that did not do calf club made mini-scenes and I was one of those people that made a mini-scene.  For my mini-scene, I made a  goat farm with two adult goats and two baby goats. I used green coconut, farm goats (toy animals), cardboard, twigs, and sand+ some rocks. I found that dyeing coconut is very hard because you can't get all the coconut green so you have to use quite a lot. I found that all of it is hard but I think that the hardest part was doing the little stream along the right side with the rocks! I was sad that I could not do calf club but the reason was that mum could not come home in the middle of the day to feed the animals. but I still loved doing the mini-scenes. I had to name the goats so I named them Dash, Spike, Milly, and Silly. I had lots of fun making my mini scene. I am very happy with how it came out and I am very proud of my self!!!

This is my week 2 chapter chat! I did Digital Design. This is what I have designed running gear for Ghost. I did a hat, a t-shirt a water bottle, some shorts, some socks, and some shoes. On all my products I have a blue cross! I had lots of fun making these. The first one I made was the t-shirt. The last thing I made was the shoes. My favorite thing that I made was the hat because I thought I would never be able to do it that good.
I don't like the shoes as much because they look real and have a white background.

Whetu Calendar art 2019

In term four Whetu created calendar art! Our calendar art can be ordered as a calendar, notebook and lots of other cool products. I did a hair thing with Miss Sowden. We had our heads and then we would draw our hair with all these different patterns and colors! Then you drew a colorful background. I am really proud of myself. You could choose out of three different art pieces to create! I did mine with Miss Sowden. You could make little houses or flowers with Miss Heaven and put your face in one of them. Our last chose was to do a sean with Miss Kennedy and put your face in a body you have drawn. I had lots of fun doing my calendar art. 

T4,W1,CC-Research Centre

This is my first chapter chat for this term and I decided to do Research Centre. For research, we had to research at least five world records! I did six because I wanted to make my work an overflowing honey jar. My favorite one was the most dangerous ant in the world. It is the Bulldog Ant! Just because ants are small it does not mean that they can't kill you in 15 minutes! My least favorite was the heaviest onion. I had lots of fun doing my chapter chat. Hatch Cup 2019

Today I am going to tell you all about me and my brother's journey at Hatch Cup in 2019. Me and Lola Harris were the team's supporters and we were there when they won games and lost games so I can tell you all of it.

Before we can get into the detail of the games they played we have to tell you about the journey there! It took us six hours to get there, I was in a car with my mum, Inia, and brother. It was a very long and boring trip but it did not feel like six hours it felt about four hours! The only stops we took were to go to the loo or to get something to eat! On one of our stops, we bumped into some of the other boys!

When we finally arrived at where the boys were staying! We were there before everyone but it only took a minute or so for the others to arrive. When they did we could get into the hotel and see what it was like! 

After that, we had an hour until the opening ceremony started so me mum and Inia went to this park place where there was a bird place and a rose garden but my favorite place was the ice cream store! There was a mummy duck with three little ducklings that we keep on seeing but I did not mind that.

Then the opening ceremony started and we went to the hockey turf to watch! Me and Lola were trying to find a four-leaf clover but we had no luck. The teams came onto the turf one by one and they were each holding a banner.

After that, me and my mum and Inia had to leave to go to the place we were staying because it was an hour away! We were staying at my nana and grandad's house! My favorite part was feeding their fish because they have a pond! They only have goldfish in it though.

The next day we packed a picnic and brought it when we drove an hour to the hockey turf when they played their first game. Luckily they won their first game and we're very happy that they won! After that, they won a lot of games and me and Lola were supporting them with red and yellow chickens. We got red and yellow because of there colors are red, yellow and black. 

They were all happy until they lost a game.  Some of the players came off the turf crying but the coach managed to cheer them up before there next game. They had won this game so if the other teams on the turf playing next to them tie or if one of the team's scores (it would have to be a certain team and I forgot their name) then they will get through to the top ten or something!

When it came to the end of the game they tied so themes valley made it through and they were so happy! They played two of their games but lost both. Then they were playing of for 5d and 6th place. This was their last game and they wanted to win it so bad. When they were in the last two minutes they were all trying their best and the game ended! They had won their game and come 5d! We all celebrated by having KFC at the park! 

We drove home and had two wait the six hours again. On the way home, we stopped for macers! When we got home we went straight to bed.
