Setting the scene art

This is my setting the scene art from the book we are reading. Were cuckoos call. The hardest part about creating it was gluing the worm in the bird's beck.

we got these bags and we had to fill it with 5 things that we can explain are self with. I chose a silver metal shark because I love the sea. I chose a sea turtle that I made on my first year in wheuna. I had two photos of my bunnies (Nacho and Shadow). I also had a photo of my cat looking surprised. I had a gem rook. I really liked Bella's gold she brought in.

I chose these photos because they are my bunnies and they are very special to me. I love my bunnies. I wanted to share them with people. The grey ones called shadow and the white ones called nacho.

I chose to create a logo because I thought it would be fun. I chose the colours because I thought they looked cool together. I like how you can mix colours.

First Week In Whetu

My first week in Whetu was great! 

We made avatars that looked like us. My buddy was Georgia and she was a great help! We also made blogs and Georgia was my buddy for that too! We added our avatars to our blog! We can change the background! I chose puppy paw prints. You can add pictures to your blog. We had a snowball fight! You had to write your name your favourite food and your favourite tv show or movie. Then you had to scrunch your piece of paper up and throw it around the room! You got four throws and then grabbed one and sat in a circle. You read the one you grabbed. We also did water activities! My favourite activity was one where you had a line and a bucket full of water and an empty jar at the other end and the first person had to grab the water with their hands and pass it along the line with every body's hands. The jar with the most water at the end wins! The other water game was we had a bowl and you had to go over under and put it into a bucket.
